Minifantasy - Enchanted Companions introduces 18 new magical creatures to the collection!
All of them have been designed to be able to act as support companions, allowing them to help your heroes in different ways.
Each creature includes special animations that cover specific functions, for example, picking items from the ground, resurrecting a fallen hero or offering offensive support to the player, among many other functions.
They also make perfect cosmetic pets to give your players customization options!
Besides, the vast majority of the enchanted companions include the necessary animations to be also used as regular enemies.

Minifantasy collection is a community-driven project. The new asset packs are suggested and voted on by the Minifantasy Patreon community, so every month I make the asset pack the majority has voted for :)
I understand you wish there were more creatures and magic effects, but every developer's project requires different assets, so I imagine that the most desired next release varies a lot from developer to developer.
However, I have good news for you, the next asset pack, which will be published in a few days, is an undead creatures asset pack ;)
Why don't all of they have animations and directions?
Not sure I understand what you mean. All companions have animations and directions. Some of them don't have 4 directions because 2 directions are enough. Some of them don't have certain animations because they don't require them (for example some flying/floating creatures use the same animation for moving and idle), or because for their support purpose don't need all of them.
I think it's because there are "a few exceptions due to the nature of the creature".(lol jkjk) The chest, for example, doesn't have an attack animation but instead has an open/close animation (because it's meant to be your inventory buddy and not an attack buddy). This really is a great pack to an already great collection! Krishna really has made one of (but most likely the) most complete and expansive tilesets on itch.io.
