Welcome to Minifantasy🪄Spell Effects II!

This asset pack contains a selection of Arcane, Cartomancy, and Shadow Magic standalone spells. Each magic school adds its thematic spell effects and unique patterns, along with 8×8 tileable effects and other separate elements that will allow you to create your own spell patterns and AoE.

The effects included in the asset pack are also great resources to be used as environmental threats and traps.

🔮 Arcane Magic School

✨ Arcane Burst

· Can be used either as a self-cast spell (creating a burst that damages nearby enemies) or as a targeted spell (creating a burst that damages both the target and nearby enemies).

 

✨ Arcane Missile

· Your typical Arcane magic missile for devastating ranged attacks. The impact effect also works well as a stand-alone effect. (ranged attack available in 8 directions)

 

✨ Arcane Orb

· A static orb of raw arcane energy that spins while emitting a deadly ray.

 

✨ Arcane Pulse

· Can be used either as a self-cast spell (creating a pulsing aura that damages nearby enemies) or as a targeted spell (creating a pulsing area of effect that damages both the target and nearby enemies).

   

✨ Arcane Beam

· Tiled spell effect. You can adjust the beam's length by adding or removing tiles.

✨ Tileable 8x8 

· Arcane explosion effect. For creating your custom spell patterns and AoEs.

🎴 Cartomancy Magic School

✨ Tarot Cards Aura

· An aura of rotating tarot cards surrounds the casters to protect them from enemies. Upon collision with an enemy, one of the cards triggers an impact, releasing one of the offensive effects included in this Magic School.

   

  

  

✨ Draw Fate

· Can be used either as a self-cast spell (releasing a defensive effect on the caster) or as a targeted spell (releasing an offensive effect on the enemy).

  

  

✨ Different Fate effects

 These effects are meant to be used in combination with Aura and Draw

· Death (a damage-over-time effect)

· Emperor (a tileable wall effect for self-protection and keeping enemies at bay)

· Hermit (a blink effect for safe teleportation)

· Sun (a confusion/blind effect)

· Sword (a direct damage effect)

· Wheel (randomly applies buffs or debuffs to self/allies or enemies - additional status effects available in Minifantasy - Magic Weapons & Effects)

✨ Tileable 8x8 and 8x16

· Flipping card effects. For creating your custom spell patterns and AoEs.

  

🌑 Shadows Magic School

✨ Shadow Orb Aura.

· Shadow aura with 1 to 4 orbs. Orbs can inflict direct damage through collisions (melee damage) or by spending them to create Shadow missiles or Shadow sting attacks.

   

✨ Shadow Missile

· Your typical magic missile for devastating ranged attacks. The impact effect also works well as a stand-alone effect. (ranged attack available in 8 directions)

 

✨ Shadow Sting

· Can be used either as a self-cast spell (creating a directional short-range attack) or as a targeted spell (2 orbs Spam on the enemy to deal direct damage).

 

✨ Shadow Tendrils

· Summon Shadow Tendrills that attack, inflicting devastating damage on enemies.

✨ Tileable 8x8
