I noticed that the red roof tile asset in 'Minifantasy_TownsTileset.png' is slightly smaller than the red house in the bottom-right corner of the mockup.png file. Because of this, I can't recreate the same house effect as shown in the mockup file. I'd like to know if I'm doing something wrong or if there was an error in the asset update.

Hey!

To recreate that exact roof, you only need to offset 4 pixels upwards in the middle section. I've included an image to illustrate what I mean.

Wow, this method is really good. Thanks a lot!

I used this (and some other of your asset packs) in my latest Trijam entry. (https://hullhound.itch.io/pot-pot-smash-smash). I'm intending to use a lot of your packs in my game jams entries going forward. I know the license states I need to message you on each completed project. Is there a better way for me to message you about my game jam entries? Or would you prefer me to only message you once I have a commercial release?

Hi hullHound,

Thanks a lot for choosing Minifantasy for your Jam entries ^^ I appreciate it very much!

I really enjoy seeing what you guys make with the assets, whether it's personal projects, jam entries or commercial games, it's my guilty pleasure, hahaha.

It's not specified clearly, but the license actually refers to commercial projects. I know that messaging me about new jam entries can be a bit annoying, especially for very active devs. So, you can just notify me if you release a commercial game or a bigger project, but don't refrain from sharing with me small things if you think they are worth it, I'd love to see them  :)

PS: I destroyed all the pots!

haha :) thank you for the clarity! It's greatly appreciated!

Quick question: What would be the best way to go about using these? I'm using Tiled and I'm trying to recreate the indoor mockup, but I'm having difficulties since the props don't fit an 8x8 grid.

Love the asset packs btw.

Hi Asix. I create the base level or scenario using the tiles, then I place props as independent sprites over (or under if necessary) the tiles layer. I normally create the props without the constraint of 8x8 tiles because it gives me more designing freedom. Let me know if I can help you in any other thing.

And thanks for your support! I'm glad you like the assets :)
